Pearlman Packaging was established 60 Years ago. Mr Harry Pearlman began trading shortly after the end of the second World War.
In those days Manchester was the textile capital of the world and young Harry started doing the rounds visiting the factories in Cheetham Hill and Salford supplying paper and corrugated to the trade.
In the 1960’s Harry saw the move to Polythene was inevitable and quickly moved with the trend to become a major supplier of polythene packaging products to clothing and pharmaceutical manufacturers in the UK. |

With the growing trend to a global market in the 90’s Pearlman Packaging began making strategic contacts with the emerging markets of China and Asia. This has developed into a relationship which broadens the capabilities of Pearlman Packaging to offer the best price and supply that the Polythene Industry can offer.
In 2003 Mr Les Schwalbe took over the company as Managing Director after being the Sales Manager for almost 12 Years. Mr Schwalbe’s previous experience in the trade was Sales Manager for Transpak Packaging Pty Ltd in Melbourne Australia between 1988 to 1992. |
